2026 is the second year of Ending Life’s Taboo being a charity partner with Jane Tomlinson’s Ipswich Half Marathon. Being such a small charity it is great to share the platform with much larger charities.

Next year will be our last year of being a charity partner. If you would like to run, marshal or support us please drop us a line (endinglifestaboo@outlook.com) and we can keep you updated as soon as we have next year’s date.

We are so grateful to our four runners this year: Paul Charlton, Robert Thompson, Jennifer O’Connell and Siobhan Clarke. Their fantastic final fundraising total amounted to £1,895 plus Gift Aid.

Also we thank our five volunteer marshals that supported the smooth running of the event: Tracy Davies, Lynda Smith, Lorna Simpson, Toni Jolin and Bex King.

Paul shared his thanks to those supporting him on the day: Sunday’s Ipswich half marathon was exceptional.. perfect in that the family mostly got here to cheer me on .. conditions couldn’t have been better .. a lovely route even with the big Freston hill which I walked up!! and I did the run in a pretty cool time without injury.. now resting! And today’s total reaching £1325! A huge thank you to everyone who has donated xx
