SUMMARY:Heaven Can Wait 5K
DESCRIPTION:A haven for wildlife\, Oakfield Wood\, Wrabness will be the perfect setting for the very first ‘Heaven Can Wait’ 5K Fun Run in the UK and raising monies for two local charities and one national military charity: Ending Life’s Taboo\, YES  and The Not Forgotten. \nThe route takes you through woodland on to the tree-lined arbor of the Essex Way\, down steps onto the stony and sandy foreshore of the river Stour and along\, back into a country lane with a slight incline\, through farmland and paddocks bank on to the Essex Way and finally finishing in the field (adjacent to what will eventually become a wildflower meadow) where information stands etc will form part of the Oakfield Wood\, Wrabness Open Day. \nRun in fun\, in memory of a loved one or as part of a team to raise vital funds for these three worthwhile charities. \nEntrants will receive a Sustainably Sourced Wooden ‘Heaven Can Wait’ Medal; ‘Heaven Can Wait’ T-shirt or opt to plant a tree globally via our partners ‘Just One Tree’ (incl. kelp regeneration). \n‘Just One Tree’ fulfils all 17 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and their impact is felt both on land and under the sea.
